Galeria Liverpool - Cuernavaca - Mexico

FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti’s Crema Marfil Select marble-effect slabs cover the floors in the big Galeria Liverpool in Cuernavaca, capital of the Mexican state of Morelos.
Founded in 1847, Liverpool is Mexico’s biggest retail brand, operating in 17 of the country’s big shopping centres.
The name comes from the fact that the brand’s French founder, Jean Baptiste Ebrard, started shipping goods for his warehouses from Europe through the port of Liverpool.
In addition to numerous shops and boutiques, the welcoming atmosphere of the shopping centre in Cuernavaca also hosts leisure events targeting a very broad public.
The surfaces in high traffic shopping centres are subject to constant wear from tread and mechanical vehicles, and so it is essential that they provide not only long-lasting aesthetic quality but the best possible technical performance, as in the case of FMG materials.
FMG high-tech ceramics are made from natural products (clays, sands and minerals) through production processes based on what happens in the earth’s crust, with very high temperatures, pressure and movement of tectonic plates.
The result is a new generation patented product capable of eliminating even the flaws in the materials inspiring it.
High traffic shopping centres and public places such as Galeria Liverpool are therefore one of the best examples of uses of FMG porcelain, combining the best performance on the high-tech ceramics market with important practical considerations such as easy cleaning and sanitation and low levels of general maintenance.
