Elbepark - Dresden - Germany

An excellent example of a commercial space that combines shopping and entertainment, ElbePark, designed by Dresdaprogetto WMB Architekten - Gesellschaft von Architekten mbH in Germany, has undergone an effective redevelopment and renovation of its floors and surfaces.
Statuario Venato from the marble effect porcelain slab collection by FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti was chosen for the project to create "patterns and wheels designed to emphasise the entrance and passageways, as well as highlight the route through the shopping centre".
With over 180 businesses from every commercials sector in 100,000 m2, and a modern and inviting design whose central ceiling has the shape of a 50-metre-long boat, ElbePark has mall floors framed with a large elliptical pattern, featuring "a continuous black line decorated with alternating dark and pale FMG slabs".
Alternating with wood-effect tiles that outline the various stores, Statuario Venato pre-polished tiles are very pale beige slabs that show the typical darker veining of the famous marble from which they take their name.
Their innate shine and brilliance brings a touch of elegance and original modernity to surfaces, elevating the quality of the overall interior design. In terms of performance, FMG porcelain offers the utmost resistance and stability, as well as being easy to clean: the perfect solution for spaces with high foot traffic.
