Villa FZ, a private residence with a modern architectural style and clean, polished forms, was designed and built by Studio Bizzarro & Partner at Lido degli Estensi, a seaside resort in the province of Ferrara.
This minimalist, executive home, features large windows that fill the rooms with natural light, while ensuring privacy from the surroundings. This was made possible by designing an 'inverted' structure where the absence of openings to the outside is made up for by large French windows that overlook the internal patio and the swimming pool. The result is a living space to be experienced from the inside, which clearly stands out from the surrounding buildings, particularly in terms of style.
Villa FZ is distinguished not only by the balanced play of architectural volumes, but also by its functionality and sustainability: advanced home automation systems and cutting edge construction and structural solutions ensure a low environmental impact and comfort, both acoustic and thermal.
For the internal surface cladding, Studio Bizzarro & Partners chose FMG porcelain stoneware, in the MaxFine format, renowned for its high technical performance and high aesthetic value.
Marble and stone effects were selected, the best expression of which can be seen in the large format MaxFine ceramics. The bright and sophisticated whiteness of Marmi MaxFine Statuario Light 300x100 cm that welcomes you into the home is the star feature of the walls around the external covered atrium and the internal hallway. Providing a distinct color contrast, the two-storey area that unites the two floors of the building was enhanced by Marmi MaxFine Black Marquinia with a Silky finish in the 300x150 cm format: the intense black background of the marble creates a striking backdrop visible from the entrance of the villa and the entire living area, becoming its focal element. Neutral tones were chosen for the flooring, using Pietre MaxFine Lavica Grey 300x100 cm inside and Pietra di Basalto Grey by Iris Ceramica, in the 120x60 cm format - with slipperiness coefficient of R11 - on the patio, swimming pool area and side walkways.
Thanks to their technical performance, extreme hygiene, ease of cleaning, and resistance to scratches, abrasions, chemical agents and UV rays, the flexible and versatile MaxFine panels by FMG and Iris Ceramica are the perfect solution for covering both vertical and horizontal surfaces, both internal and external, for the greatest freedom of design.
