STAND LIVINGKITCHEN 2019 - Köln - Germany

Architects: duePIU Architects

At LivingKitchen 2019 FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti, the Iris Ceramica Group brand, will be represented in a beautiful stand shared with some of the other brands of the group.

The companies in the group underline their partnership serving architects and interior designers for the creation of total look spaces.
The ability to create coordinated spaces and supply architects and interior designers with total look solutions is the common denominator.
In stand A048, Hall 4.2, the four brands in the group stage a symphony of design in which each company stands out for its own particular features.
The stand designed by duePIU architects is characterised by expression in an emotional minimalist style of composition, in which geometric lines cut across the area to lead visitors through the exhibition space. The compactness of the outer cladding, FMG’s Sahara Noir, is dematerialised in the two entrance areas using bookshelves with a lightweight black metal structure in which flecks of onyx in different colours from FMG’s Maxfine Onici line allow visitors to glimpse the inside of the stand.
The focus is on the kitchen, presented in three spaces illustrating different moods and materials, all in line with the group’s philosophy of viewing the kitchen as a creative place of experimentation, conviviality and human interaction. A small collection of custom items and accessories designed by duePIU architects illustrates the great versatility of the high-tech ceramic materials produced by the brands in the Iris Ceramica Group.

In the middle of the stand is the second kitchen: an evocative island covered with Arabescato from FMG’s Maxfine Marmi line featuring an Arabescato SapienStone countertop fitted with an innovative TPB Tech® integrated induction cooker. The island volume seems to cast its shadow on the floor in the form of a shape made out of FMG’s Arabescato surface, maintaining continuity with FMG’s Grey Citystone floor covering.

The stand reveals all the expressive potential of the Iris Ceramica Group ’s high-tech ceramics and the four brands’ ability to work together to respond to their customers’ needs with coordinated and custom-designed solutions for public and private spaces.
