Una Hotel - Milano - Italy

Architects: Fioresi Studio

UNA Hotel in Cerro Maggiore, Milan, featuring FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti’s Bianco Statuario marble-effect surfaces, is "an original architectural structure built around the idea of motion" by architect Renzo Costa.
Located on the road to Milano Malpensa airport near the Rho-Pero exhibition centre, the hotel has 11 floors with 160 rooms, a bar, a restaurant and five meetings rooms featuring all today’s most advanced services and conveniences.
A grand project built on a 4,000 sqm lot, the UNA Hotel is clearly inspired by its urban surroundings in a high traffic area.
Because of its role in the cityscape and its particular use, the building expresses dynamism and vibration in its volumes, conceived as dynamic entities “thanks to an unexpected reference to the sea, starting with two opposed sails, the shapes of which enclose the inner body of the hotel".
Marmi Classici floors express the project’s prestige and warmth, in the mood of today’s hospitality projects, in which the lounge is seen as an integral part of a wider-ranging atmosphere of comfort, socialisation and gratifying experiences.
