FMG is partner to the initiative “Vietato l’ingresso, a unique project that aims to re-open the TAM Teatro Arcimboldi di Milano to the public and to culture after a long period of forced closure caused by the health emergency.

This ambitious project invited seventeen architecture and design firms from Milan to “adopt” one of the dressing rooms, completely refurbishing the interiors to give each of the rooms, all sharing the same function, a new and unique soul.

FMG joined the initiative by making available its high-quality technical porcelain stoneware surfaces, with an infinite range of textures and material essences to support the concepts of the refurbished dressing rooms.

In its restyling project, the firm Park Associati chose Rialto, the Venetian terrazzo tile in the nuance Earth and in format 120x60 with polished finish to cover the bathroom floor. A collection that interprets one of the most famous floors in Italian building traditions, using pioneering technologies and selected raw materials to create high-performing surfaces.

The restyling projects began in June and will be completed in September, when, during the 2021 Salone del Mobile, the new theatre dressing rooms will be officially unveiled to the public, who can visit them and vote their favourite one online.

Supporting “Vietato l’ingresso’, FMG confirms its sensitivity to the cultural world and its desire to contribute to the preservation of the collective heritage by making available its expertise in the technical and design world.
