SpazioFMG per l’Architettura’s historic gallery has relocated from the Tortona district to a larger location, bringing with it its cultural heritage gained in over twelve years of exhibitions and events.

Centrally located on via S. Margherita at the corner of Via Farine, the 750 square meter Iris Ceramica Group Milano flagship store designed by Area-17 Architecture & Interiors, covers three floors of premises previously occupied by a bank.

The ground floor, with lounge area and spectacular bar counter, opens onto a dynamic yet welcoming display area. Extraordinarily versatile MaxFine large format tiles are used for floors and walls, architectural focal points and designer furnishings, creating a highly impactive visual and aesthetic effect. The space features surfaces with different effects, including exquisite rare marbles, luminescent onyxes and translucent agates. The ceramics are like a second skin on tables, partitions, chairs, wall dividers, storage cabinets, and fixtures and furnishings, demonstrating the endless application possibilities of high-end porcelain tiles.

The upper floor, designed as a luxury spa with niches and recessed areas, has a more intimate, personal mood. The display includes vanity tops, washbasins, storage cabinets and compartments, all completely in porcelain tiles. Completing the extensive range is DYS – Design Your Slabs customized surfaces the innovative on-demand decor service that enables you to print any image onto ceramic surfaces. The large wellness and bathroom area also debuts furnishings by Seventyonepercent, the new Iris Ceramica Group brand, which chose the collaboration with prestigious designer Paolo Castelli SPA for the official launch.

The basement recaptures the safeguarding function of the bank by housing vast archives and an extensive range of products. At the center, the original structure of the former vault has been retained and tiled with ACTIVE SURFACES, a material with effective antibacterial, antiviral, anti-odor, anti-pollution and self-cleaning properties.

This prestigious display area in Milan city center enables visitors to experience the quality of FMG products, touching and seeing at first hand the attractive appearance of large format MaxFine exclusive textures with their infinite application potential.
