Great success for the participation of FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti at Sicam, the International Exhibition of Components, Semi-finished Products and Accessories for the Furniture Industry, held in Pordenone from 12 to 15 October 2021.

FMG took part in the trade fair in an exhibition space shared with the brands Iris Ceramica and SapienStone, showcasing the Group’s latest innovative solutions for designer furnishings and contemporary design.

The star of the stand was the large island kitchen with the base covered in 6 mm thick Marmi MaxFine Statuario Delicato slabs and the top in Seminato Nero, the full-body surface with 12 mm thickness by SapienStone. The Marmi MaxFine Statuario Delicato slabs were also used to customise a large, elegant four-door pantry unit with fitted appliances. Different thicknesses, finishes and colours, all perfectly blended to bring life to custom furnishing solutions with high design, lasting performance and great aesthetic value.

In the reception area, the Venetian terrazzo effect dominated the tables and stools, created in different finishes of the Palladio collection by FMG and Seminato Beige by SapienStone.

A bathroom set blended a washbasin unit and shower tray in Venice Villa Blue full-body porcelain stoneware with wall coverings in the 300x150cm surface Marmi MaxFine Brazilian Blue. A trendy total look that enhances the aesthetic qualities and performance of the extensive FMG catalogue, which today includes Hypertouch, the exclusive concealed capacitive technology applied to surfaces, to make homes increasingly smart and connected.

And at the exhibition, a corner was devoted to Active Surfaces®, covered by two European patents – in which the renowned salubrity and strength of ceramics are combined with eco-active, self-cleaning, antibacterial, antiviral, anti-pollution and anti-odour properties.

FMG’s best-selling textures were featured in a creative chromatic material library made of 3D cubes, offering a high-impact, easy-to-use visual and tactile experience. The recent new Marmi MaxFine references covered the perimeter and partition panels of the stand with Rosso Lepanto and Breccia Medicea, while the Black Onyx surface was chosen for the floor.

Furnishing complements, architectural elements, bathroom units, a kitchen island and many floor and wall covering applications underlined the qualities of the pioneering and technologically advanced ceramic surfaces produced by the Group, the result of continuous research into innovative and sustainable solutions.
