Designed by Area-17 for Iris Ceramica / FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti
Cersaie , Bologna Fiere / 26 - 30 September 2016
HALL 26 / Stand A188/B189

The stand designed by Area-17 for Iris Ceramica and FMG is a place for relating to people, a place for exhibiting products and talking about business opportunities in an atmosphere of casual elegance sheltered from the chaos of the trade fair. The stand is designed as a business lounge, in which the atmospheres of different settings follow one upon the other like a series of life-sized mood-boards, naturally underlining the dialogue between differentproducts, textures and finishes.A sculptural white shell entirely covered with Statuario Light(FMG MaxFine) establishes a clear division between inside and outside, broken up by a few highly effective glimpses of the inside to focus attention on the productand invite visitors to come in. Refined combinations of furnishings and slabs of different sizes create an exhibition space of bold inspiration.Iconic Baxter and Foscarini items are featured in Area-17, along with a series of custom-designed accessories designed specifically for the fair using Iris Ceramica and FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti surfaces. Tables, bookshelves, cabinets, lamps and chairs demonstrate the versatility of the material when interpreted by someone who knows how to read its potential and make the most of its expressive capacity.
