Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti tiles cover 13,000 m2 of the large Plaza Cumbres Shopping Centre in Monterrey, Estado del Nuevo León, Mexico.
Designed by architect Marco Suberville, the imposing complex was commissioned by the Viber Group.
The complex extends over a surface area of 41,000 m2 and a lot of over 75,000 m2, with 120 stores and more than 3,000 visitors every day, who are also attracted by its many musical events with international stars.
The clients and architects have created a reference point for shopping, for a potential client base of 90,000 families, in an area to the west of Cumbres, serving a region that has seen notable economic and residential development in recent years.
FMG classic marble effect surfaces in Nero Marquinia e Crema Marfil Select, offer an excellent solution to the need for a hard-wearing product whose appearance does not change over time, thanks to a bright, original material with its streaked veins that combine with the black and beige background.
As in many other projects for shopping centres, the versatility of FMG high tech porcelain allows imaginative and original compositions, with colour contrasts that cover open spaces and galleries, creating an overall welcoming effect for the constant flow of visitors.
