TCA and ASTM (American Section of the International Association for Testing Materials).
TCA, was founded in 1945 with the aim of spreading in the US market ceramic slabs. It carries out tests on slabs and fixing materials in its laboratories and the results reported are related to water absorption, flexural resistance and abrasive hardness according to the research standards of ASTM on FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti slabs.
ASTM (American Section of the International Association for Testing Materials) is an international organization with its headquarters in Philadelphia (USA) which can count more than 33.000 qualified members all over the world. The ASTM research standards can provide details concerning 13.000 rules, testing methods, technical features, recommended working methods and specific information for engineering use.
