Resistance, ease of cleaning, simplified installation and water absorption decidedly lower than the limits set by the strictest technical regulations, are just some of the characteristics of decorative technical ceramics which are therefore the ideal solution for indoor and outdoor floor or wall coverings where the qualities of full body porcelain stoneware are required, that is, colours and veining passing through the entire body of the tile.
"Enthusiasm for what we do, determination to reach our targets, and respect for mankind and the environment, because economy equals ecology and the wellbeing of mankind starts with the choice of materials."

FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti: constructors of natural stones
FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti, a division of the Iris Ceramica Group, was founded in 1998 when its Chairman, Romano Minozzi, decided to act on an inspirational idea: he would manufacture natural stones, retaining all their exquisite appearance but improving their technical properties.
We Build
in the Factory, state-of-the-art products, using construction processes covered by international patents.
stones
i.e. blends of clays, sands and minerals that nature compacts through tectonic motion and fires through the heat of the superficial layers of the crust.
natural
because we employ the same forces used by nature itself (pressure and fire), following construction processes which reproduce its features and characteristics.
ecocompatible
because sands, clays and other raw materials are quarried without damaging the environment, using sensitive, strictly enforced procedures and know-hows.
with very high performance
because clays, sands and materials used are extremely pure; the compacting pressure is very high (4800 tons per square meter); and the firing heat is much higher than the one of a volcano (1300°C and more, compared to 1100°C).
