Gruppo Ospedaliero San Donato
Italy
The Gruppo Ospedaliero San Donato traces its origins back to 1957, when the surgeon Luigi Rotelli and a group of other doctors founded first the Istituto di Cura Città di Pavia, followed by the Policlinico San Donato in 1969.
Over time, its development process has made the Gruppo Ospedaliero San Donato Italy’s largest hospital operator; partly through its own growth and partly through acquisitions, it now has 18 hospitals, 17 in Lombardy and 1 in Emilia-Romagna (Bologna).
The Gruppo Ospedaliero San Donato has hospitals throughout the Lombardy Region, in the Milan, Monza, Como, Pavia, Bergamo and Brescia areas, covering more than 2/3 of the region’s entire population.
FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti materials have been widely used: no less than 6 hospitals (totalling about 35,000 square metres in floor area) have chosen FMG for a vast assortment of contexts (from utility areas to treatment rooms, and from wards to executive offices). One of these facilities is proud of its status as Italy’s most prestigious private hospital: the Casa di Cura La Madonnina, in Milan.
Further proof of how the FMG natural stones meet the most demanding technique requirements combined with beauty of appearance.
